This summer has been the hottest I can remember. Around 30°C outside during the day. And some night around 20°C and that is really warm. Especially considering I live in the northern parts of Sweden aka a subarctic area.

It has been nice to have it warm outside. No point in trying to do anything though. Just take it easy and eat ice-cream and drink a lot of water.

Good thing my in-laws wasn't here when it was this hot outside. It would have been impossible to go anywhere and my mother in law would probably have gotten really restless. She likes to visit places and do stuff.

Also we got a hot-tub so I could soak in that to cool down.

But we also needed to buy gazebo because I get sunburned really easy.

Now I can soak in it outside during the daytime with no worries.

Soon I am going to gt to meet my inlaws again And their little doggie of course. Kisse is a HUGE fan of hers...not. He thinks she is a pain in the bum and a big nuisance. Well I think he thinks all dogs are really.

But, but I have one gigantic hurdle to pass still.... getting the house presentable.

I am very, very good at making a mess in a room. Not so much at cleaning it up though, unfortunately.  I have managed to shovel out one room so far. The worst of them all is now okayish.

But I still have one room and both kitchens to get done. Yes, we have two of them. Old house and so on Ohh and I need to clear off my area of the couch. It is absolutely covered in stuff that "might" come in handy, some day....eventually...you never know

So with only a few days left and I am now getting ready to do my final cleaning out. But I also need to get laundry done as well since that has been lagging behind all winter. I have been using me learning German as an excuse but honestly...I hate doing the laundry...big time.

But if I want to have some clothes to wear it is probably a very good idea to get that done as well.

In about two and a half month my mother-in-law and father-in-law are going to be visiting. Well we will be meeting up with them in Gothenburg first though.
I am looking forward to meeting them again. It has been a year since last time.
And it is going to be interesting to see what happens when their dog meets my mom's. It is the same breed but they have a female and my mom has got a male.

I feel I can't sit and stare at my previous entry anymore.

My father died on the last day of November.
